Why this project matters

Financial hardship, bullying, social exclusion, isolation and difficult personal circumstances can make organised sport inaccessible. Regular sport can offer movement, structure, positive relationships and personal development without promising to solve every challenge.

Working Together with ACA Jiu Jitsu

BeeCharity is developing this project with ACA Jiu Jitsu, which has confirmed available training capacity in initial discussions. BeeCharity will coordinate fundraising, school referrals and scholarship funding, while ACA is the intended provider of age-appropriate training. Final arrangements are subject to a written agreement.

Why Jiu Jitsu?

Confidence and self-belief

Respect and self-control

Friendships and belonging

Physical activity and coordination

Discipline and personal growth
