Where the money goes
We would rather over-explain our finances than leave you guessing. Here is our cost model, our current position, and the principles that govern every transaction.
The figures on this page are illustrative and provided to demonstrate how BeeCharity reports its finances. They are not audited accounts.

Our cost model
For every franc donated to a specific project, this is how we intend it to be split. Where a donor covers processing fees or gives unrestricted support, a greater share reaches delivery.
Direct project delivery
82%Materials, local partner fees, logistics, and on-the-ground works that create the funded outcome.
Verification & reporting
9%Independent checks, photography, and the evidence we publish against every campaign target.
Running costs
9%Payment processing, hosting, insurance, and the minimal admin needed to operate responsibly.
Our financial principles
- Restricted funds stay restricted. Money given to a named project is only ever spent on that project.
- No campaign spends before it is funded and verified as ready to deliver.
- Surpluses on a completed project roll into the next phase of the same programme, never into unrelated costs.
- We publish results against the exact targets we asked you to fund — including where we fell short.
Registration status
BeeCharity is a registered association (verein) in Switzerland (UID CHE-457.076.818), with its seat in Dübendorf. Charitable tax-exemption details are still being finalised — until then we operate to charity-standard financial controls voluntarily and will publish full annual accounts once we are able to.
