The problem we want to address

Limited access to devices, confidence, guidance or safe online learning can make everyday digital participation harder.

Our proposed solution

Digital Start Zürich may offer accessible workshops covering computer literacy, internet and email, online safety, digital communication, online services and workplace skills.

Who the project will support

People in the Zürich region who may benefit from accessible digital-skills support. Confirmed participants have not been selected.

Project development status

This project is in development. Delivery dates, partners, participant numbers and detailed costs remain subject to approval.

How the programme will work

1

Confirm delivery partners and accessible venues

2

Develop a practical workshop curriculum

3

Recruit and brief volunteers

4

Deliver and evaluate workshops

5

Publish verified participation and learning outcomes

Proposed budget allocation

CHF 20,000 fundraising goal

A detailed spending breakdown will be published once the delivery plan, partner arrangements and supplier costs are approved. Funds will not be represented as committed before those checks are complete.

Expected outcomes

  • Improved confidence with everyday digital tasks
  • Safer use of online services
  • Published evaluation findings

How impact will be measured

BeeCharity plans to record verified participation, delivery activity, expenditure and relevant anonymised learning or distribution outcomes. No completed results are claimed at this stage.

Project partners and requirements

Local community organisations, educators and qualified digital-skills providers may be considered; no delivery agreement is approved.

Volunteer opportunities

Volunteer interest is welcome for community outreach, practical support and evaluation. Roles will be confirmed only after safeguarding and delivery arrangements are approved.
